The BrainWave Centre (BWC) specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as:
Using qEEG and ERP technology, we are able to graph and compare each patient’s brain function with a range of normal values, thus giving us a quantitative figure that identifies whether a patient has a particular condition. It also gives an indication of the severity of the condition. Our neurophysiological services can also test the effectiveness of the treatment mode undertaken by a patient, whether it involves prescribed medication or other drug-free therapies, including neurofeedback. Since our commencement in 1995, the BrainWave Centre, formerly the Brain and Behaviour Centre Westmead, has seen over 28,000 patients and has a referral base of over 2,500 medical professionals, including general practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists and paediatricians. Additionally, school counsellors, principals, speech pathologists, the Department of Community Services and others, refer to the Centre. Read more...
